What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?                                                                                  ~High Fidelity

I don't know who invented the high heel, but all men owe him a lot.

Soft green meadows covered in clover.  Cool, pillowy pure sand at the temperate beach. Lake Michigan is like bath water after a long, hot summer. I'm ready for a soak in peppermint scented water, how about you

  5. What a great post, Elizabeth! I was never adventuresome about shoes myself, but when my son and his friends went through their punk phase, we did have some interesting, and expensive, foot wear in the house!

Thanks for giving me a smile to start the day...
